Course on "The Economics of Anti-dumping"

On 19 April 2013, Laurent Benzoni and Julien Pellefigue (Partners at TERA Consultants) gave a course on "The economics of Anti-dumping". The tools used by DG Trade in the framework of its policy of maintaining "fair trade" were described, as well as the various stages of a anti-dumping procedure. A demonstration was given through the economics of competition to show that the econometrics and statistics tools used in the evaluation of anti-competitive practices could be mobilised usefully to improve the robustness of antid-umping complaints, or to defend more effectively against such complaints.
