TERA Consultants’ participation in the workshop of the DGCCRF “The French consumer law faced with the European law on unfair commercial practices” at the Ministry of Economy and Finance
On October 8, 2014, Laurent Benzoni (Partner and Founder of TERA Consultants) co-chaired the workshop organised by the General Directorate for Competition Policy, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The workshop was introduced by Nathalie Homobono (Director General of the DGCCRF), with the participation of Professor Yves Picod, Professor of Private Law at the University of Perpignan, Nicolas Godfroy, Legal Officer of the consumer group UFC-Que choisir, Veronica Manfredi, head of the unit of consumer rights and marketing to the Directorate General for Justice of the European Commission, and Frank Rohard, legal director of SFR.
Laurent Benzoni also gave a presentation from the economist’s point of view: "Are the solutions of positive law in line with the teachings of economic analysis?"
